For our extension project, picking up the phone with Price and Price was the best decision. Shaun is a down-to-earth great guy who impressed us from day one. Our first impressions were spectacular, and his professionalism in envisioning our project, presenting ideas, and providing a bound quote booklet was a level of service we had not experienced with other quote providers. The building work progressed almost seamlessly, and every detail was taken care of with apparent autonomy from the great guys who work for and represent Price and Price. All the different chaps who came to our house for the project were friendly, had a good laugh and were engaging. Despite living in the house while the work took place, we never felt in their way (even though I'm sure we must have been at times!). Building work on this scale was never going to be easy with two children in the house, but the guys were engaging with our 3-year-old, and he loved watching them work, so thank you for that; it meant a lot. Shaun was always contactable, and any issues were taken care of promptly. Shaun sorted out any adaptations, extras, or oversights we made to the project for us. He and the team really have made our visions come to life, and we are extremely thankful and exceptionally pleased with their enduring hard work. One of the hardest parts of the project was knowing what to do with ourselves when it was over! We almost missed the vans on the driveway and the lads coming over. (almost...definitely glad to see the skip go)... As stressful as these things can be, the Price and Price team are top-notch, and we would, and will recommend them to anyone we speak to! Thanks guys! We cannot recommend Price and Price enough. Our kitchen and utility extension is exactly what we asked for. We were involved in all decisions and plans from the very beginning right until the end. Shaun and his team worked extremely hard throughout the project, working long hours and turning up in all weather including snow! Simply the best We recently had a loft conversion completed by Price & Price. From getting the quote to the end of the job we had complete trust & confidence in Shaun & his team that they would deliver an excellent job. Everything is taken care off from day one. 1. The brilliant architect Rob who’s drawings are amazing with great detail he was very polite, courteous & professional & follows the whole process through for you with planning team etc. 2. All the guys who work on the job were friendly, professional & respectful of our property & most of all turned up for work on time everyday & did an amazing job in all weathers. 3. Derek, Josh & Jake are great joiners & had so much wood work to complete the quality of their work was great & the quality off all materials used on the job was top notch. 4. The Electricians, were great & very friendly & brought our electrics up to date in line with all the latest regulations. 5. The roofer was brilliant & very precise when completing his job & also did a great job of the UPVC. 6. From the scaffolders, plasters, bricklayers, tilers, & the guys who completed the aluminium everything was completed to a very high standard. 7. We are so happy with the outcome we would certainly recommend Price & Price you may have to wait a while as this team are always busy we can say they are well worth the wait. 8. Shaun kept good communication with us throughout the whole process, give lots of good advice & always wanted to ensure the customer gets the best outcome & will be totally happy with the project. They say you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, well I know a man who can! From start to finish I have been bowled over by the quality and professionalism that Shaun and his team have shown in transforming our very tired 70's house into something spectacular. The team were there at 8.00am on the dot ready to start work, fuelled with plenty of brews, biscuits and bacon butties and in some foul weather conditions thrown in. They left leaving me as tidy as they possibly could and with a quick summary of what had been done and what would be next, I was kept informed every step of the way. Having a good idea of what I wanted, things also needed to evolve as it's hard to visualise when there's such a big change, that's where Shaun's expertise came in and he advised me on what would and wouldn't work resulting in me getting everything spot on. If you need work doing then I would highly recommend Price & Price for your project.

Having researched reviews, we commissioned Price and Price (Shaun Price) to construct a one-storey extension to our semi-detached house; internal work including new kitchen fitting following re-design that included provision for a utility area; front room re-configuration and new bathroom. External work including garden paving design and build. Shaun was able to recommend an architect (Rob Sherwood) to us and we were very pleased, as well as being surprised, as to what actually could be achieved with the draft plans. When embarking on such a project, there will be inevitable stress. There will be upheaval and one must accept that not everything will run to schedule, especially involving third parties. A particular strength, which filled us with confidence, was Shaun’s direct and continual communication, which served to mitigate anxieties. As an example, due to circumstances that could not possibly be anticipated, kitchen delivery could not take place on the booked day. The knock-on effect a change in delivery date can cause cannot be understated. This situation required Shaun’s ability to adapt and re-jig schedules involving a number of sub-contractors e.g. kitchen fitters; joiners; plasterers and electrician to work round the problem and keep delivery on track. Our faith in Shaun and his team was fully justified. Every member of the team was punctual, amiable and readily receptive to last minute aesthetic tweaks to design and requests such as door width changes and additional radiator work. All of the work has been completed to an exceptional standard. A house, that wasn’t easy to love and lacked warmth, has been transformed into a beautiful home and we are beyond ecstatic with the results. Shaun was able to further recommend a flooring company (Banks Flooring Solutions), who we were also extremely pleased with. Whilst we knew our budget and ultimate financial limitation, we were very pleased that there were no nasty surprises during the work and there was minimal deviation from the original quote and payment plan. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Price and Price, whose reputation for high standards; communication and management of projects, is fully deserved.
